The medical care unit S 500 combines modern timeless design with innovative lighting technology. The horizontal lighting strip is the decisive design element here. It not only serves the purpose of creating the reduced horizontal optical effect of the unit, but also houses the reading lamps. They can be shifted horizontally almost at will so that different configurations in the room can be catered for. The unit contributes to a pleasant overall impression, as the lighting strip conceals the necessary connections for electrical power and communication technology. Behind the lighting strip, there is room for all commercial 230 V sockets. In the same way, the connections for calling the nurses or for emergency calls as well as telephone and data connections can be individually reconciled with the wishes of the planner. The same applies to the gas connections, any number of which can be positioned anywhere on the front.
