Lighting system for Healing Architecture. For Schyns Medizintechnik we brought medical lighting to a new level - the S130 wall light.

The environment has a major influence on patients’ well-being and recovery. But it is light that defines a space and brings it to life. Space and light are inextricably linked. Lighting design in the healthcare sector has long been about more than mere functionality. What is required are solutions that not only illuminate spaces optimally, but also create atmosphere and establish architectural identity.

The luminaire combines maximum functionality with a sleek design. In addition to general, reading and examination lighting, it offers a treatment light with 1,000 lux as well as ambient lighting.

It is available with the Schyns Biologic Health Light – an extension of classic Human Centric Lighting (HCL) specifically designed for the healthcare sector.

The reading lights can be adjusted electronically depending on the bed’s position. Accessories and medical devices can be easily and flexibly attached to the integrated groove.

It is the essence of our approach when designing architectural products: enabling perfect functionality and creating spaces of calm. Its minimal design will never dominate the interior design.
